Job Description :
- This request is for a programmer / analyst and will provide expert level programming and analysis for Mainframe and distributed applications on projects with federal, state, administrative mandate.
- The program is a large / complex (1000 program, 400 table) MVS / COBOL / DB2 / CICS system with additional .net distributed applications.
- Successful candidates must have proven development experience in MVS / SAS / COBOL / CICS / DB2 / TSO / JCL languages and also some Microsoft .Net Web development experience.
- Candidates will have experience with structured analysis and design, as well as an understanding of full Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Project duties will be to work as a programmer analyst and part of a team to develop and maintain child support applications.
- Project duties will also include scheduling, analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, ad hoc reporting (SAS), development of user documentation, training materials and help screens.
- First consideration will be given to those candidates that have experience with child support enforcement systems or large case management, financial or state automated systems (i.e., UI, TANF, TAX).
- Preference will be given to qualified candidates with business in Support business area, prior experience with the KIDS system, and familiarity with client's application systems, procedures, and development standards.
