TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Space Systems – Avionics & Software Integration Engineer position .
Description / Duties : The engineer will provide Systems Engineering (SE), requirements management, and Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) support to NASA's Integrated Avionics Test Facility (IATF) for the Space Launch System (SLS) Program. IATF implements Systems Engineering, Avionics Integration, and Software Development in NASA's Flight and Ground Software and Simulation Division (ES50) at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The selected candidate will have knowledge of complex systems life cycle, ranging from requirements development, functional design, hardware integration, and requirements verification. Activities associated with this position include (but are not limited to) :
- Support the SE Lead in evaluating stakeholder needs, characterizing technical VV&A objectives, and applying SE practices to solve stakeholder issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed verification objectives (DVOs) and verification success criteria for NASA IATF requirements.
- Perform detail analysis to close DVOs.
- Support coordination of activities for requirement verification, software accreditation, facility certification, and system validation of hardware in the loop (HWIL) facilities.
- Plan and manage verification activities required to verify compliance with IATF requirements during development, integration, testing and evaluation.
