We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Associate with hands-on Shopify experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our e-commerce platform to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and support the execution of marketing strategies. This role requires a tech-savvy individual with a passion for e-commerce, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Data Management: Maintain, update, and organize product listings on Shopify, ensuring accuracy in product details, descriptions, and images
Pricing & Inventory: Execute pricing strategies and perform regular price updates, monitoring for accuracy across SKUs
Bulk Updates: Manage product uploads and updates in bulk, including handling large data sets and making changes efficiently in Excel
Performance Tracking: Work closely with the analytics team to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement
Marketing Strategy Execution: Execute marketing strategies and manage spending budgets across all channels, including email, SMS, SEM, paid social, affiliate, and loyalty programs
Customer Acquisition Programs: Drive programs to grow customer acquisition through email and social media initiatives
EComm Website Enhancements: Research competition and drive new enhancements and features for the website, focusing on optimization and improving the overall customer experience
User Conversion Optimization: Implement strategies to convert site traffic and improve conversion rates, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline eCommerce operations and improve the customer experience
Excel Data Analysis: Use advanced Excel functions to organize, analyze, and report on sales, inventory, and customer data, creating insights for strategic planning
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, customer service, development, and inventory teams to ensure a cohesive approach
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an eCommerce role
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for making minor adjustments to product pages on Shopify. Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, etc)
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization for analyzing large datasets.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional team
