Your Responsibilities:
- Precision CNC Operation: Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts according to complex blueprints and specifications.
- Program Optimization: Interpret and refine G-code and M-code programming, and utilize Mastercam to generate and modify CNC programs.
- Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators), ensuring adherence to strict tolerances.
- Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine machine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Detailed Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement process improvements.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on CNC Machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency in operating CNC milling and lathe machines.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- 1 year of dedicated mill experience.
- Expertise in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators).
- Proficiency with Mastercam software.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
