Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and events to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently as needed.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Assist in organizing special events or functions within the venue as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Experience working with children is a plus, especially in resort or event settings.
- Skills in conflict management and public speaking are beneficial for effective communication with guests.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an advantage.
- Background in events management or theater can enhance your ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
