Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in coordinating events and special occasions within the venue.
• Address any guest concerns or conflicts with professionalism and tact.
• Collaborate with food service staff to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and events to guests.
• Engage in public speaking when necessary, such as announcing special events or promotions.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
• Familiarity with conflict management techniques to handle guest inquiries effectively.
• Experience in food service or events management is a plus.
• Background in theater or resort environments can enhance guest interaction skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $17.48 - $18.48 per hour

Expected hours: 2.8 per week
