What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk II position at Trividia Health, Inc.?
SUMMARY
To fulfill the requirements of the company's shipping department. Maintain a clean safe
and organized working environment. Follow company's policies, regulations and operating
procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
- Pick, check, pack and ship orders as per QSI procedure QSI-15-02.
- Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL) and packing slips for shipments
- Put away released finished good products; transfers from other warehouse locations as necessary.
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures
- Inserts items into cartons using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Affix shipping labels on packed cartons
- Consolidate shipping orders as necessary
- Labels identifying information and shipping instructions on products
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Utilize ERP (QAD-MFG PRO) to make inventory transactions.
- Assist in cycle counting finished good products as per QSI procedure QSI-15-04
- Operate PIT in a safe and secure manner; transport items between warehouses using PIT and/or company vehicles
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping systems
- Adhere to OSHA and DOT regulations
- All other duties as assigned (including but not limited to working in other departments, assignments, etc.)
- Run end of day reports to ensure all sales orders are shipped correctly
- 60% driving, 40% warehousing/distribution
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-
one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the
organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and
100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight
measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written
or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operator training certificate to operate forklift.
Class B driver's license for company truck. Acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.
