TRL Systems, Inc. conducts pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations. In addition to having many clients (hospitals, schools, etc.) who require background checks, as a federal contractor TRL is also required to complete a background check for any employee who may work on a federal contract in any capacity. For any position that drives a Company vehicle, our insurance carrier requires criteria to be met and therefore will be a condition of employment.
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all California locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Train technicians on how to properly install CCTV, access control, and burglary systems in commercial spaces according to TRL Systems standards.
- Assist with the hands-on installation of CCTV, access control, and burglary systems.
- Provide advance system programming and/or troubleshooting on CCTV, access control, and burglary systems such as Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, etc
- Conducts on-site project evaluations to ensure compliance.
- Keep Project Manager notified of any ‘Out of Scope’ work needing to be performed or that is requested.
- Make sure that all project documentation is completed, project workplan reflects accurate status of work, and a complete and well written resolution is entered on all project tickets.
- Review and update time and material (T&M) tickets, ensure time is entered correctly, products have been entered and billed accurately.
- Assure ticket resolution is accurate and complete and ticket status is updated timely for billing.
- 5 years installing/servicing security systems
- 4 years in a leadership role
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Posses a valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends (if needed).
- Punctuality and regular attendance
- Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
- Move/transport/install/remove items weighing 50 pounds
- Drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day
- You may work at extreme heights occasionally, and an indoor environment under all temperature variations. Confined spaces may occasionally be required.
- Work is performed on construction sites, in commercial buildings, high rise buildings, and/or hospitals with patient contact.
