JOB OVERVIEW
This position is for a seasonal part-time Groomer Lead. The Groomer Lead will lead the daily operations of Hoedown Hill’s snow surface department in accordance with established HoeDown Hill grooming Standard Operating Procedures, and safety protocols. This is a 2nd & 3rd shift position with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Job Functions :
- Commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all HoeDown Hill Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies.
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and maintain consistent attendance to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Ability to learn and perform job tasks in all activities on Hoedown Hill
- Consistently express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively providing guests and fellow employees with assistance, information, and directions
- Provide exceptional guest experience : From operating activities to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences safely
- Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments as needed
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests throughout the day
- Assist with special events and large groups
- Must be self-motivated / self-directed
- Responsible for operating all HDH grooming equipment
- Responsible for maintaining a high-quality snow surface to provide an excellent and safe guest experience
- Completion of all required training
- Report any injury or near miss to the Manager on Duty immediately.
- Fill out all the paperwork including the pre-shift log sheet and maintenance logs if necessary.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental HDH Snow Surface Standard Operating Procedures.
- Able to individually complete the entire daily HDH grooming plan providing a high-quality finished surface for a safe and exceptional guest experience.
- Able to complete a terrain park build
- Able to diagnose all trouble codes & resolve or identify resolution path
- Drives excellence in guest service
- Drives excellence and compliance in HDH safety programs
- Completion of all shift documentation
- Ability to lead teams of 2-4 people
- Understanding of LOTO awareness & confined space entry
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
M – F : 9 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 AM
On-Hill Environment :
Expected Pay Range : $22-$25 per hour
Shift type : Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays
Salary : $22 - $25
