JOB OVERVIEW
This position is for a seasonal part-time Groomer Level 1. The Groomer Level 1 will participate in the daily operations of Hoedown Hill’s snow surface department in accordance with established HoeDown Hill grooming Standard Operating Procedures, and safety protocols. This is a 2nd & 3rd shift position with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Job Functions :
- Commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all HoeDown Hill Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies.
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and maintain consistent attendance to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Ability to learn and perform job tasks in all activities on Hoedown Hill
- Consistently express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively providing guests and fellow employees with assistance, information, and directions
- Provide exceptional guest experience : From operating activities to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences safely
- Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments as needed
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests throughout the day
- Assist with special events and large groups
- Must be self-motivated / self-directed
- Responsible for operating all HDH grooming equipment
- Responsible for maintaining a high-quality snow surface to provide an excellent and safe guest experience
- Completion of all required training
- Report any injury or near miss to the Manager on Duty immediately.
- Fill out all the paperwork including the pre-shift log sheet and maintenance logs if necessary.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental HDH Snow Surface Standard Operating Procedures.
- Understanding of LOTO awareness & confined space entry
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
M – F : 9 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 AM
On-Hill Environment :
Expected Pay Range : $20-$22 per hour
Shift type : Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays
Salary : $20 - $22
