Food & Beverage Supervisor, Full Time w/ Benefits
We're hiring a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager for Glenview Golf Course in Cincinnati, OH.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management of the food and beverage department for a la cart sales and banquet events.
- Handles the production and service of food and beverage products as necessary
- Handles all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service
- Always maintain a professional appearance
- Maintains the cleanliness of production and service equipment
- Keeps production and service areas clean and orderly
- Manages orders for all food and beverage inventory
- Provides adequate display of garnishes and condiments on “self-serve” basis
- Performs clean-up and closing procedures
- Complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other local/state laws
- Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations
- Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are always maintained throughout the food & beverage areas
- Direct and assist with set-up, preparation and execution of golf outings, banquets, parties, and special events
- Manages in conjunction with the F&B Director all hiring, supervising, scheduling, of snack bar attendants and beverage cart attendants
- Provide daily oversight of F&B accounting procedures
- Maintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventory
- Follow the buying process for food and beverage ordering
- Train front line staff on quality assurance and appropriate guest service
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Education and Experience Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years of experience
- Must have strong sales orientation
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
- Must have food and beverage/ a la carte experience
- Must have strong business aptitude
- Must have strong service orientation
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
- Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
- The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands
- The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 50lbs.
- Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve food and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Noise level is typically moderate
- Work extended hours during golf season
- Work weekends and holidays
