What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Racquets Professional position at Troon?

Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Racquet Sports in the Racquet Sports Department's operation both on and off the court.
- Off-court duties include, but are not limited to, working in the pro shop, answering phone calls, communicating directly with members, some light maintenance work, taking out the trash, etc.
- On-court duties include teaching private and group lessons, running clinics and camps, helping to facilitate member social events and tournaments, and court maintenance.
- Pickleball experience is desired but not required for this position. The Assistant Racquet Sport Professional position will need to become comfortable with teaching some Pickleball lessons and clinics.
- The Assistant Racquet Sports Professional is expected to attend all meetings, events, tournaments, etc., as required or requested by the Director of Sports and Fitness.
- Be willing to work daytime, some evenings, and weekends and/or holidays.
- Become fluent in the various Club software programs related to the successful administration of the Racquet Sports Department.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager or other management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous racquet/tennis/country club experience in a similar role preferred.
- Playing ability of 4.5 or above (collegiate level preferred).
- Basic computer skills including email, Outlook, Word, Excel, POS system, membership database, internet, and website abilities.
- Customer service experience.
