Position Overview:
Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking a Bookkeeper - Accounts Receivable with experience in real estate lending or mortgage lending. This role involves managing invoicing, payment tracking, and financial record-keeping to ensure smooth accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Manage invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliations.
- Monitor overdue accounts and handle collection efforts.
- Prepare borrower payoff statements and other financial reports.
Financial Record Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Clean up and organize historical accounts for data integrity.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Generate A/R aging reports and cash flow summaries.
- Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Finance Manager and accounting team for accurate financial reporting.
- Communicate with clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (Accounts Receivable) in a real estate lending or mortgage lending company.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) – REQUIRED.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
