Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic (EVP, Private Equity). The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Private Equity provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Trophy Point. This senior role is responsible for actualizing the vision of investors, driving fund performance, and ensuring the success of portfolio companies. The EVP will direct senior fund staff, establish investment strategies, and represent the fund externally to build partnerships and elevate its profile.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Direction
- Provide overall strategic direction to the Private Equity fund, ensuring alignment with investor goals and fund objectives.
- Devise investment theses and identify target sectors, steering the fund’s focus to capitalize on market opportunities.
Investment Leadership
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, offering guidance and support to fund staff to implement the investment vision.
- Provide feedback and coordination for the Fund’s Investment Committee to present, evaluate, and make decisions on investments.
Team Leadership
- Direct senior fund staff by devising, setting, and communicating investment strategies.
- Hire, evaluate, and coach team members to foster professional growth and enhance fund performance.
Portfolio Management
- Oversee day-to-day decision-making for investment processes and portfolio companies.
- Direct and support portfolio company strategies, including growth initiatives and exits to maximize returns for the fund.
Financial Oversight
- Develop, monitor, and manage the Fund’s budget and expenditures, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic priorities.
External Representation
- Represent the Fund in external engagements, including media relations, partner funds, community relations, and marketing events.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen the Fund’s reputation and industry presence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience and Expertise
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity or investment management, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of private equity investment processes, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with investors, stakeholders, and external audiences.
