Tropic Supply is the place for you! We are the largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration wholesale distributor in Florida, and here, people matter. We want to add a Purchasing/Buyer to our Home Office location in Sunrise, FL.

Job Duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Maintain accurate levels of inventory required daily to meet distribution demands.
• Obtain requirements by verifying, preparing, and forwarding purchase orders to suppliers; monitor and expedite purchase orders as needed.
• Proactively review inventory levels to coordinate product movement between vendors and store locations.
• Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy.
• Maintain and update master files [items, vendors, etc.], including new item setup.
• Utilize the purchasing system to ensure that data is accurate and up to date.
• Analyze data levels to determine and apply appropriate ordering, inventory, and replenishment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Details:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• On-site at our Home Office in Sunrise, FL, is a must

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be able to attend to details and handle multiple tasks simultaneously accurately
• Must be able to work in both a team environment as well as independently

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or College Degree preferred.
• Experience in wholesale distribution is a plus.
