Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes within our organization of assembly of Printed Circuit Boards, ensuring that products meet the required standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead a team of quality control inspectors and work closely with various departments to implement and maintain effective quality management systems. Your expertise in quality assurance and compliance with industry standards such as IPC 610, J-STD, ISO 9001 and AS9100 will be crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
- Supervise and train a team of quality control inspectors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with established procedures and regulations.
- Analyze inspection results and provide feedback for corrective actions when necessary.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and systems to enhance product reliability.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in fabrication processes.
- Ensure all documentation related to quality inspections is accurate and up-to-date.
- Lead investigations into product defects or non-conformities, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in quality management practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Experience conducting quality audits and inspections.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving quality objectives.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality throughout all processes.
