  • Soldering:
  • Prepares and solders electronic components (both surface mount and through-hole) onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications.
  • Performs hand soldering to IPC standards.
  • May use microscopes for precision soldering on small assemblies.
  • Works with both leaded and lead-free solder.
  • Assembly:
  • Assembles parts and/or units, positioning, aligning, and fastening them to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using various hand and power tools.
  • Connects cables, tubes, and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • May insert through-hole components into mix technology boards.
  • May perform mechanical assembly such as cable assemblies and installing sub-assemblies in cases.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspects finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs soldering issues.
