We are a dynamic and fast-growing Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) based in Tampa, Florida, specializing in skincare, haircare, wellness, and OTC (Over-the-Counter) products. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team and ensure the that our manufactured finished products meet clients requirements, quality, and safety regulatory standards.

The essential duties of a Quality Control Inspector (QCI) at Tropical Labs include:
- Attending morning production huddles and assisting with production associate assignment and duty training.
- Ensuring all measuring equipment is calibrated on a daily basis.
- Setting up production supplies on the filling/packaging floor.
- Maintaining flexibility to perform pre-weigh and blending verifications.
- Testing the cleanliness of production equipment and process lines using ATP testing protocols.
- Performing pre-line/post-line clearance during a manufacturing run.
- Studying the outlined Bill of Materials/Client Requirements for each manufactured product.
- Managing finished product standards and representative samples.
- Implementing/Monitoring contemporaneous completion of batch manufacturing records by production associates (pre-weigh, blending, and filling/packaging).
- Enforcing good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices.
- Performing critical release approvals for product filling lines.
- Reporting issues to Quality management at the time of discovery.
- Carrying out intermittent quality checks per manufactured product and any campaign runs.
- Verifying/Approving final finished product counts and accuracy of pallet pack-out to client requirements.
- Contributing to the Quality team efforts to any other duty assigned as needed.
