Civil Design Engineer (Land Development / Municipal)
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Trotter Workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop civil engineering projects for land development and municipal clients
- Conduct storm water management and hydraulic design calculations, site grading, sanitary & storm sewers
- Obtain PaDEP and PENNDOT permits
Requirements:
- Proven experience in storm environmental or water and sewer engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or higher
- EIT certification
- Plan to acquire PA PE license within the next year
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil design with a strong background in storm water management
- Strong knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AutoCAD and technical writing
- Able to work in a team environment and respond professionally to client issues
