Job Description
Fire Alarm Installation Technician
Yearly Salary $70,000-$85,000
Philadelphia, PA - Full Time
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and repairing fire alarm systems
- Experience with installation testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Work with a team to ensure that all fire alarms installed are functioning properly and adhering to safety and building codes
Requirements
- Experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems
- Knowledge of fire alarm control panels and devices
- Understanding of UL, NFPA, IBC and local fire codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Certifications in fire alarm installation, such as NICET or equivalent, are preferred
