This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking an Events Intern to join the Events Department.

The Events Intern will have the distinct ability to help us accomplish our vision to create the most exceptional culture that redefines the meaning of home.

*** Seasonal Full-Time position, $18 per hour. Seasonal timeframe is April 14th - October 31st. ***

Responsibilities

• General support for the Events Team
• Understand individual and team requirements for each event
• Assist in planning events with attention to detail, financial parameters and time constraints
• Research vendors (musicians, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
• Work with internal and external event planning team members to ensure flawless execution of club and private member events
• Driving department revenue through member interactions and inquiries; specifically inquiries regarding member birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions
• Assist in managing private event operations (prepare venue, coordinate with staff, etc.)
• Assist with coordination and execution of all Club Events
• Assist with planning all details of private events to create memorable experiences for members and guests
• Assist with developing Banquet Event Orders, event schedules and other event documents
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Professional in appearance, attitude and action
• Positive, motivating and team spirited attitude
• Must be available to work some nights and weekends to staff events
