This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Residential Services Maintenance Supervisor to join the Residential Services Department.

Troubadour's Residential Services Maintenance Supervisor fills an essential function: ensuring that our members and guests receive the highest quality of service.

***Full-time salaried role. Starting pay $65,000 and bonus eligible.***

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all projects as prioritized by Residential Services Manager
• Gather bids and provide estimates of costs for project completion and receive approval from homeowner prior to beginning a project
• Performs various duties involving plumbing, carpentry, electrical and ventilation systems
• Send out monthly reports to Homeowner’s enrolled in Preventative Maintenance Program
• Stay in compliance with the department’s annual budget
• Stay in compliance with warranty items
• Provide detailed reports of expenses, labor, materials and other associated costs for each task or project
• Communicate information related to tasks and projects that will impact service within a specific department
• Keep work areas neat, organized and clean-up job sites appropriately
• Maintain adequate inventory of necessary parts
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all of the homes in the Residential Services program
• Identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs
• Responds to on call after hours emergencies, as needed
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
• Any other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, major and minor appliances, pool and spa equipment
• Good communication efforts / and accessibility
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Decision making

• Delivers results – getting things done on time and accurately…reports issues that affect a deadline.
• Collaboration – regularly works with other departments or projects
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
