Extrusion Blow Molding Process Technician
To oversee the development, optimization, and documentation of molding processes while achieving continuous improvement goals.
Location : Elk Grove Village, IL
Schedule : 3rd shift - 10 pm - 6 : 30 am
Pay rate : $25-$28 / hr
Duties :
- Oversee and regulate product weight, flash, and wall thickness to help reduce scrap.
- Work with other departments on sample testing and process documentation.
- Develop and maintain molding processes, ensuring their consistency.
- Reduce molding defects by improving processes and implementing a formal corrective action plan.
- Train production staff on correct processing procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.
- Handle start-ups, shutdowns, and color changes as necessary.
- Diagnose and resolve minor hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
- Uphold housekeeping standards and promote lean manufacturing practices.
- Achieve continuous improvement goals and objectives.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
