Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT Specialist Intern to join our IT department for the Summer 2025 internship program. The intern will assist in providing technical support, managing IT systems, and participating in various IT projects. This role offers valuable hands-on experience with networking, hardware, software, and cybersecurity, providing an opportunity to gain practical knowledge in a real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for internal teams, providing timely technical support
- Help manage and maintain company computer systems, networks, and servers
- Support in configuring and installing software, hardware, and peripheral devices
- Assist with the administration of user accounts and access permissions
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and security updates
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting (e.g., internet connectivity, network drive mapping)
- Support data backup and recovery procedures
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including manuals, FAQs, and knowledge-base articles
- Collaborate with the IT team on cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring data protection and system security
- Contribute to IT projects, including system integrations, cloud services, or automation tasks
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests and document resolutions
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the IT department
