The Information Systems (IS) Manager is responsible for the information management system and internal software to ensure all systems are utilized to their fullest potential, and is an advocate of the company’s goals, vision, and core values.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Responsibilities)
Working Together
- Provide technical operating assistance to all staff, including hybrid/remote and on-premise. Troubleshoot, train, and communicate solutions as required.
- Provide onboarding and refresher training to employees for new products, features, or processes as needed.
- Conduct audits, retraining and coaching of staff, as requested by department manager, for staff development and/or evaluation.
- Collaborate and coordinate daily with IT & Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure systems run smoothly, assisting each other as needed.
Creating WOW
- Maintain a comprehensive training program of Troxell systems for all new employees, including training aides and classroom instruction (virtual and on-premise).
- Train acquired agency personnel on the agency systems, process, procedure, and workflow.
Earning Trust
- Continue to learn, improve, and refine the management systems capabilities to make sure agency is at optimum usage of contracted resources.
- Perform security administration for all partner carriers, including user administration, website access, set-ups and new producer appointments.
- Prepare reports for management and leadership teams (both ad hoc and scheduled) to assist in strategic planning & operational objectives.
Embracing Innovation
- User administrator for agency management system and information storage and sharing platforms, including credentials, security, electronic signatures & access.
- Troubleshoot all management system errors or operation problems, assist with system software issues, and troubleshoot all issues with download or partner carrier websites.
- Serve as advance team member of the agency acquisition team responsible for the collection of client, carrier, and process data from acquired agency and coordinate data integration into the Troxell agency management system, ensuring a smooth transition of data. Perform data validation following integration.
What You’ll Bring to Us
- High School Graduate or GED is required. Advanced education at the technical, vocational, or college level in business and computer science is preferred.
- 5-7 years of prior work experience in business or insurance field is preferred. A combination of training and experience may satisfy these requirements.
- Ability to be highly organized, yet flexible in dealing with shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and evolving procedures.
- Must have a willingness to learn new products, refine knowledge of current products and effectively convert that knowledge to others that need training
- Must possess advanced knowledge of information technology and computer applications. High degree of familiarity with various Windows and Microsoft software and other complementary software necessary in the day-to-day operations, including administration of Microsoft products. Experience with administration of Vertafore product suite is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information technology and computer industry documents, journals, and research, and make recommendations in support of meeting the agency’s business needs and strategy.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills necessary to present information to management and agency personnel regarding proposed or approved system improvements.
- Ability to work independently and carry out responsibilities with a significant degree of latitude, while maintaining positive staff relationships within a teamwork environment.
