Construction Supervisor

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in multiple locations as Field Supervisor/Manager. The Field Supervisor/Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, managing on-site personnel and ensuring project schedules are on track. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and have a deep understanding of construction processes.

This position is on-site and field-based, ideal for those who have a passion for being actively involved in construction and enjoy working directly on job sites.

Your responsibilities:

• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company's plans and vision.
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Receive complaints and resolve problems.
• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
• Prepare and submit performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
• Work closely to the Project Manager to ensure all field activities are being properly executed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields
• 5 years of experience in construction supervisory or management roles
• Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of construction processes
• Experience in residential construction
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• English Spanish are required
