Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients
- Accurately label, package, and distribute prescriptions and medication orders
- Maintain and stock medication inventory, including ordering and checking expiration dates
- Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and staff
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies regarding pharmacy operations
- Assist with other pharmacy duties as needed to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the pharmacy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations is a plus
