Position: Summer Preschool Early Childhood Educator, 1.0 FTE
Location: Troy Preschool

Qualifications:
- Must meet the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirements for Child Care Preschool
- Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, with 18 semester hours in early childhood education/child
- Must meet DHS licensing requirements
- Experience working with and planning activities for preschool age children
- Understanding of child development
- Experience using the HighScope curriculum preferred
- Demonstrate aptitude and competence for assigned duties and tasks
- CPR, First-Aid, and other compliance training required
- Ability to obtain Michigan Childcare Background Check – LARA
- Demonstrate knowledge of licensing regulations for centers serving preschool age children
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Other duties as assigned
Description:
To provide a learning environment for the preschool student that promotes success and independence using an active
hands-on approach. Schedule is. Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. or 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
