What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Adaptive Driving Instructor position at Troy University?

This position assists the Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) in serving consumers in the ADRS Adaptive Driving Program. These duties will include but not be limited to: assisting CDRS in evaluation and training for ADT services, maintaining specialized adaptive equipment and devices related to ADT program for use in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedically, and/or neurologically impaired clients of ADRS, perform scheduled maintenance, service, and minor repair of vehicles and mounting equipment, schedule all service station related work, etc.
Minimum Qualifications

1. High School Diploma
2. Credentials of Certified Driving Instructor, or eligible for certification as a Certified Driving Instructor in the State of Alabama
3. Certified in the State of Alabama as a 3rd party License Examiner or Alabama 3rd Party License examiner eligible
4. Valid Alabama driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
