Job Summary for Building Site Assessor:
Troyer Post Buildings is seeking a Build Site Assessor with a strong background in the post-frame construction industry and general construction knowledge. This role is crucial in ensuring that all build sites are properly prepared before the delivery of materials. The Build Site Assessor will travel to job sites utilizing a company vehicle, assess site readiness, communicate with customers, and document findings for the sales and operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-delivery site checks to confirm that the build site is level and prepared for construction.
- Assess the suitability of the site for the proposed building and recommend modifications if necessary.
- Evaluate site accessibility for delivery drivers to ensure safe and efficient material transport.
- Perform safety assessments for delivery drivers and make recommendations to minimize risks.
- Communicate directly with customers to discuss site readiness and any necessary adjustments.
- Function as a liaison between customers, the sales team, and the operations team if site-related issues arise.
- Enter detailed site check data into an online database system shared with the Troyer Post Buildings team.
- Utilize CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft products for reporting and documentation.
- Maintain a clean driving record and safely travel to various job sites as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the post-frame construction industry and general construction practices.
- Experience in site assessment, construction site preparation, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to identify and document site issues effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft products.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently to job sites.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
