TRS Craft Services has an immediate need for a Yard Coordinator / Rigger based out of our client's Harrison, OH facility.
Summary of Position : Responsible for setting up rigging for the movement of heavy equipment . Rigging includes preparing the materials before loading, setting up the rigging equipment and dismantling the rigging after the job.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
- Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment machinery.
- Selecting the appropriate rigging gear.
- Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts.
- Inspecting rigging before final use.
- Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
- Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand.
- Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures.
- Communicating with the rigging and operating team.
- Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections.
- Complete equipment inspection checklists daily, prior to use of equipment.
- Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with team members and internal / external customers.
- Complies with all company policies / procedures and safety guidelines
- Ensures work areas are organized efficiently while maintaining security / safety measures.
- Upholds company’s productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Certifications, Licenses : Previous license operating a forklift AND stock picker, preferred.
Schedule : Typically, Mon-Fri 7AM – 3 : 30PM
Pay Rate : $22- $24 per hour.
Duration : 2-3 months
