Job Overview:
- A major manufacturer is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant for a role expected to last 3-4 months. This individual will work full-time hours and be based at the company site near Evansville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Manage change in a dynamic work environment with a composed, professional presence.
- Tactful management of on-line calendars; prompt response to requestors while balancing business priorities.
- Responsive, professional telephone coverage for multiple people.
- Support meetings by organizing and making arrangements (start to finish).
- Plan and manage travel in an environment of changing plans and priorities - Project-based or special assignments such as organizing off-site events, customer events, employee events, etc.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx; work with Manager(s) to develop a process for prompt response.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
- Development and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets, data input into business systems, data analysis, etc. (Gensuite, eSHEM entry).
- Creation of Word documents such as letters and forms.
- Enter and maintain POs as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- SAP experience HIGHLY preferred, specifically Materials Management and/or Finance modules. If not, may be willing to train.
- Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Intermediate level - used often for reports.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretarial Science; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR 5 years recent experience in an Administrative Assistant or Clerical Role.
- Associate or Bachelor's likely required to be considered for full-time opportunity in the future.
