Job Title: Payroll Manager
Location: Mooresboro, NC
Pay: $75-90k depending on experience, plus up to 10% bonus paid quarterly
Reports to: Controller
Schedule: fully on-site, Mon-Fri 8a-5p
A manufacturing company located in Mooresboro, NC is in need of a Payroll Manager with 6 years of experience with payroll management responsibility in a manufacturing/production environment.
Duties:
• Knowledge of FIT, State tax, and local taxes
• Experience with 401k (plus year end work & auditors)
• Understanding of Union contracts
• Prior experience with financial auditors
• Creating month end Journal entries
• Understanding of different State requirements
• Understanding of accounting software
• Understanding of Railroad payroll taxes
• Understanding of accruals
• Ability to analyze Payroll Accounts
• Able to perform month end adjusting entries
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or similar
6-10 years of experience in a Payroll Management role in a manufacturing environment
Experience with ADP & reporting, Kronos UKG & reporting
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems
Great Communication skills
