Title: Welding Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Charleston, SC
Pay: $95k - $120k
Type: Direct hire, full-time
Shift: 1st (4x10 schedule)
*Relocation package and temporary housing offered
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach welders and shipfitters in daily production activities
- Monitor and manage welding performance, ensuring jobs are on-budget and on-time
- Use JT2GO and SAP 3D Viewer to reference job specific requirements
- Perform fit checks and weld inspections, as required
Qualifications
- Five (5) years of welding supervisory experience required
- Instruct and evaluate welder/fitters’ performance to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Ability to fabricate and layout according to welding certification standards
- MUST have knowledge of NAVSEA
- Read and interpret blueprints and full understanding of GD&T
