How do I make an impact on my team?
Our Hotel General Manager is dedicated to building and maintaining a great team in order to provide all guests with a first-rate customer service experience.
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement the day-to-day operations of the property
- Oversee property staffing to include recruitment & selection, orientation, training & development, scheduling, counseling, performance management and other team member relations issues
- Craft the budget for the property to include sales, marketing, operations and a strategic revenue management plan
- Lead the property management team to ensure that product and service quality standards are maintained
- Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to maintain standards set forth by company and property brand
- Maintain personal contact with guests, clients, and community organizations
- Ensure safety and security of the property, staff and guests and responding to all emergency situations
- Remain current on industry trends and local market activities
What does success look like in this role?
- College degree or at least five years of related work experience in business management, hospitality or related field
- Strong customer service skills to include problem-solving and complaint resolution
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organized
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Reliability and honesty
- Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team
