Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated appropriately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
