What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Tru by Hilton?
Hiring Immediately: We are in need of reliable committed airport shuttle drivers to join our team. Position will consist of picking up and dropping off travelers from the Tru by Hilton to McGhee Tyson Airport.
We are a 24 hours/ 7 days a week business and the open shifts are various shifts including 3rd shift.
Current Shifts Needed Filled:
Friday: 3pm - midnight
Saturday: 3pm - midnight
Sunday: 3pm - midnight OR 5am - 3pm
Requirements:
- Clean Cut and Professional
- Valid Drivers License
- Clean Driving Record
- Background Checks will be done when being badged for the airport
- Schedule Flexibility
- Great Customer Service
- You will be the first and last impression with our guests.
Providing a warm welcome and delivering excellent service.
$14.00 - 15.00$ an hour depending on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Driving the shuttle and transporting guests to and from the airport.
- Greeting passengers and providing assistance with baggage loading and unloading.
- Operate the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
- Monitor vehicles condition and record malfunctioning items or damage through appropriate channels.
- Communicate with the front desk on shuttle times and be prepared for last minute pick-ups/drop-offs.
- Reports accidents or other safety situations to the MOD.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the shuttle and hotel parking area
- Treats all Guests in a courteous, professional and friendly manner.
- You will be asked to help with other cleaning duties around the lobby in your down-time.
Job Qualifications
- Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle preferred, but not a requirement.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment depending on customer volume, shift, season, etc
- Possess positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
