Position Overview:
Title: Brand Manager, Le Monde Gourmand
Location: New York, NY
Type: Full-time; hybrid (2-3 days/week in-office)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join our team and drive the brand's success through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and market expertise.
As a Brand Manager at Le Monde Gourmand, you will work alongside the VP, Brand Lead to manage and expand our brand presence across the U.S. You will serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication between departments such as Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Customer Care, Creative, and Field Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Communication
- Act as a leader and brand ambassador across all internal and external efforts.
- Ensure clear understanding of brand priorities among team members at all times.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors and external partners.
- Build strong relationships with retail buying, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Champion the Brand: Drive alignment strategy with leadership. Responsible for consulting with cross-functional partners and driving alignment across the organization. Participate in key sales and brand presentations.
Operational Management
- Collaborate with the sales team, aiding in budget and forecast building while ensuring optimization of margins and costs. Support sales managers during the sell-in process and join retailer calls when needed.
- Manage inventory demand planning while executing new launch orders and reorders.
- Influence and work effectively with cross-functional team members to achieve timelines and handoffs between internal departments.
- Oversee brand projects across the board: keeping track of timelines, ensuring timely delivery, and owning the brand workback calendar.
- Oversee and support marketing initiatives across retail, IRL, and e-commerce platforms.
Strategic & Financial
- Collaborate on strategic brand planning for the next 3-4 years.
- Support brand product strategy and new product development initiatives with the Product Development team.
- Understand P&L and financial management to drive financial health, clear comprehension of the financial impact of decisions.
- Manage the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of products and report on profitability for retail activations (including but not limited to co-op, secondaries, promotions).
Distribution & Market Expertise
- Apply industry and market trends to inform brand strategy and help optimize distribution channel management.
- Prioritize retail activations and lead decision-making for all co-op activities in collaboration with team leadership, sales, field team, and marketing.
- Understand distribution channel dynamics, monitor product distribution, and gauge consumer reactions.

Qualifications:
- Experience in the beauty industry; experience with Ulta and/or Sephora is essential. Fragrance and/or body care experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully supporting business growth.
- Proven track record of successful project/timeline, product development, inventory and management
- Strong communication skills, with a high capability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and present critical information to executives, leadership, and internal and external teams.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to lead and manage teams effectively, while skillfully navigating complex internal structures to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
- Data-driven mindset and optimization approach.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and the ability to translate these into brand strategies.
- P&L, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.
- Strong brand marketing sense and product/industry knowledge.
- Ability to think both tactically and strategically.
- Strong sense of accountability with the ability to influence at all levels.
- International experience is a plus.
