Saw Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our cut-stock line to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work well in a fast passed environment. The Saw Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain production efficiency and uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate saw line, ensuring precision in cutting materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret cut sheets to determine cutting requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Maintain equipment by performing regular checks and minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.

Experience

• Previous experience operating saws or similar machinery is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and the use of a tape measure for measuring accuracy.
• Experience in light maintenance is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to set the pace and drive production to meet customer demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
