TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Configuration Analyst, Sr for a hospital in the Houston, Texas area.
About the Role - The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of managed care, claims processing, and/or configuration of benefits, contracts, fee schedules, and medical policy payment rules. The Configuration Analyst is responsible for the activities related to system updates, new health plan implementations, and conversions within Business Operations, designs configurations solutions to meet new business requirements and performs updates for either benefits, coding, contracts, fee schedules, or claim editing rules in adherence with business policies and state requirements. Tapestry experience and EPIC Tapestry certification is strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years Managed care, claims processing, and/or configuration of benefits/contracts/fee schedules/medical policy payment rules
- A bachelors degree may substitute for the required work experience
- Claims specialist or claims research analyst experience preferred (specifically experience working adjustments/appeals)
Preferred Skills
- Tapestry Benefits or Tapestry Contracts configuration experience preferred
- Tapestry Certifications in Contracts or benefits preferred
- Experience in Texas Medicaid preferred
