Quality Control Technician - 1st shift

Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Mount Prospect, IL (1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Mon-Fri)

Pay Rate: $18hr.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-start-up checks (line, room, equipment).
• Ensure batch documentation meets SOP, cGMP, and product specs.
• Review production logbooks and address errors.
• Perform tests (e.g., Burst, Dissolution) on in-process materials.
• Audit in-process and finished goods for quality.
• Validate lot codes, weights, and equipment performance.
• Investigate quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Verify raw and packaging materials.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and math skills.
• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of SOPs, cGMP preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Additional Requirements:

• Flexible to support production and local sites as needed.
• Potential for overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
