Summary : The Field Service Diesel Technician plays a crucial role in supporting fleets at customer locations. The Field Service Diesel Technician has the ability to work on Freightliner / Western Star, Allison, Cummins and CAT.
- Scheduled Maintenance Inspections : Conduct routine inspections as per maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and comply with safety standards.
- Preventive Maintenance Requirements : Execute preventive maintenance tasks to prevent potential issues and ensure the longevity of fleet vehicles.
- Diagnosing and Correcting Vehicle Deficiencies : Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other issues in fleet vehicles, and implement effective solutions to address them promptly.
- Making Appropriate Adjustments and Alignments : Perform adjustments and alignments to various vehicle components such as brakes, suspension, steering, and engine systems to maintain performance and safety standards.
- Maintaining Records of Work : Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and any other relevant information to track vehicle history and ensure compliance with regulations.
