Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Kenworth Sales Company, a 37-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Inside Parts Sales Representative to join our Richmond, VA team.

JOB SUMMARY:
Handle internal and external customer request for parts purchase, both in person and on the telephone.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research customers’ requests and needs where necessary and determine correct part(s) needed
- Wait on customers or mechanics at parts counter or over the phone
- If part(s) is in stock produce invoice from computer system, if not in stock and customer wants to order, create Purchase Order and process orders
- Checking in orders and receiving Purchase Orders in the business system
- Assisting with inventory and core returns to vendors, including pulling, packing, and shipping
- Restock shelves and maintain parts bins, i.e., rearranging parts, cleaning, labeling, etc.
- Delivery of parts to customers as the need arises
- Assist with annual parts inventory physical count, to include actual physical counting of parts, tallying of counts, etc.
- Assist Parts Manager with miscellaneous tasks
- Complete all required job related training
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical aptitude desirable
- 2 years heavy duty truck parts experience
- Computer terminal data input and 10 key calculator
- Understanding of office procedures, to include filing, correspondence, and basic accounting
- Knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills, and heavy and medium duty diesel truck parts
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions and information
