Position Summary :
This position manages the day to day operations of the Inside Sales team – accomplish department objectives by organizing and monitoring work process and leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives. Commission is based upon team success of established targets.
Essential Job Functions :
- Lead and manage a team of 8 to 10 Inside Sales Representatives.
- Assist Sales Director in executing company initiatives related to sales, service, and customer experience.
- Develop and implement clear and practical sales plans.
- Train, develop and motivate the team to achieve performance metrics and sales goals.
- Develop strategies of success using consultative approach, lead prospective clients through service evaluation to fully productive customer.
- Consistently provide leadership, coaching and development to team members.
- Meet and exceed assigned customer experience, sales, service, revenue and productivity targets.
- Coach and counsel team members on "opportunities" and sales technique effectiveness using key sales metrics as a guideline, recognize positive performance as needed.
- Facilitate weekly personnel training / educational sessions as directed by Sales Director.
- Create and maintain scheduling, coverage and resource planning to ensure the right number of employees are working to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure that team members are properly trained on new products and promotions to sell with confidence.
- Report concerns with sellers' knowledge and / or behavior to Inside Sales Director or provide coaching as appropriate.
- Actively inspect post-launch and drive improved results with best practices.
