The Truck Rental Sales Representative is responsible for business development of our rental product lines along with finding and developing new maintenance service opportunities to help us grow our business. Responsibilities
General Responsibilities for our Truck Rental Outside Sales Representative:
- Regular contact with potential prospects selling a wide variety of products including maintenance services to the transportation industry
- Help prepare estimates and quote pricing on truck rental and lease opportunities
- Monitor and provide feedback on the company’s industry competitors, new services, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
- Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Work closely with sales team to help build the brand
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior rental and/or service sales experience required preferably in the transportation industry
- Must have demonstrated internal customer service skills, including troubleshooting and problem-solving experiences.
- Must have demonstrated strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Able to communicate effectively both in-person and through written correspondences with peers, managers, and leadership.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
