Job Summary

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will assist clients and help them understand and determine their individual commercial line service needs. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Trucordia, you will perform many diverse responsibilities which ultimately help us succeed in providing extraordinary customer service to our customers.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain our agency management computer program.
  • Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to client’s needs.
  • Actively close sales depending on the client’s needs.
  • Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
  • Responsible for the day-to day account management of an assigned book of business which may include client communication, policy changes, renewals, payments & claims.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop commercial insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.

Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts State Insurance License
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience servicing commercial accounts within an insurance agency.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverage and markets.
  • Experience with a client management system. AMS360 preferred
  • Experience with Excel and Word
