Job Summary

The Trucordia IT team is looking to hire another Systems Administrator to join the team. In this role, you will assist in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and the ability to implement and manage system improvements that align with business objectives.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to system alerts, performing timely troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, patches, and backups.
  • Perform routine system updates, upgrades, and maintenance tasks to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support application deployments and IT infrastructure changes.
  • Maintain documentation for systems configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve escalated IT issues.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 – 5 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role.
  • Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience in a Microsoft environment, with Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Exchange.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are a plus.
