The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the overall function and
administration of the Human Resources department. This position is actively engaged with the
workforce and is an integral part of the team.

Following are the main responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:
- Maintains up to date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting
regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and
reporting are in compliance.
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan,
personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and
terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Administers the organization’s J-1 visa program and is the organizational liaison with the
- Advises management regarding interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions,
- Advises and assists management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administers salary administration program, in conjunction with the Chief Administrative
Officer, to ensure compliance and equity within organization, conducting wage surveys
within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
- Administers enrollment into benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability
assistance.
- Collaborates with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as the flexible
- Assists in the investigation of accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
- Conducts human resources related investigations as needed.
- Reviews and tracks budget of human resources operations.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit
- Represents organization at relevant hearings and investigations.
- Designs employee appreciation programs and other employee-related events such as
- Performs other tasks as required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Working knowledge of laws, mandates and best practice relevant to Human Resources,
- Ability to maintain exceptional confidentiality
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or 5 years of related experience
Wage:
- Starting at $65,000.00 annually
