Job Summary
Looking for a caregiver for a 1 year old baby who speak Spanish the client has 15 hours and u can work Sunday-Saturday to get ur hours .The mom can tell you once u get there what u need to do and stuff.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism and dementia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering direct support, ensuring patient care, and assisting with daily living activities. This role requires a patient and caring individual who can effectively monitor and address the needs of clients while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily activities.
- Monitor patients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist clients in personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Document patient progress and any incidents accurately while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or direct support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, including autism and dementia care.
- Certification in CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A caring attitude and patience when working with individuals requiring additional support.
- Basic cooking skills to assist clients with meal preparation are beneficial.
