Looking for an incredible summer job? Join us at our beautiful Minnesota summer camp, where you’ll help create unforgettable experiences for individuals with disabilities. Lead exciting activities in a fun, adventurous environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our campers.
Schedule: Seasonal, Late May - Mid August 2025
Location: Camp Friendship in Annandale, MN
Pay: $302-347 per week based on tenure with True Friends, opportunity for end of summer bonus
Bonus Information:
- 6-7 weeks worked | additional $60 per week worked
- 8-9 weeks worked | additional $70 per week worked
- 10-11 weeks worked | additional $80 per week worked
- 12-14 weeks worked | additional $90 per week worked
- Requirements: Resident or citizen of the USA, in ‘good standing’ with the organization and a live in summer camp staff member (excludes support staff)

How You'll Contribute:
- Use & learn skills to lead a variety of activities from high ropes to arts and crafts, from large group games to adaptive archery and so. much. more.
- Learn how to adapt all activities to meet the needs of campers or all ages and abilities.
- Create opportunities for empowerment and independence.
- Facilitate team building, social skill development, and just plain fun.
- Have the opportunity to share skills and hobbies as a specific waterfront, recreation, or creative Activities Counselor or be a well-rounded counselor offering a variety of activities
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Age 18
- Willing to step outside your comfort zone.
- Comfortable coaching small and large groups.
- Passionate about making a difference in the world.
- Comfortable supporting others with daily living skills (we train you!)
- Happy to live and work in a communal setting.
- Eager to take initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Able to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- CPR/First Aid certified, Lifeguard certified, camping experience, prior experience with the population highly valued but NOT required.
- Able to hear, read, and write in English
